JAPAN STAR MOTOR INC. - WARRANTY POLICY

Japan Star Motor Inc. warranties any used engines from date of purchase defined below:
1. Used Peformance Engines: 30 Days
2. Used Replacement Engines: 90 Days
3. Used Replacement Transmissions: 90 Days  
4. All Electronical/Electronic Parts: No Warranty
5. Used Performance Transmissions: No Warranty

This warranty is on all internal parts of the engine.

This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover the following:
1. Any Loss caused by overheating or misuse of the engine.
2. Towing charges and/or freight or delivery charges.
3. Loss caused by engine improperly installed.
4. The cost of labor required to remove, install or repair engine.
5. Loss caused by any modifications or use of the engine for which it wasn't meant.
6. Loss caused by defective timing belt. 
7. Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS or Turbo's)
8. The engine if it is used for competitive driving or racing. 

Disclaimer:
Japan Star Motor Inc. will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial loss, or any other consequential damage or loss. 

Warranty Claim Procedure:
1. The customer is responsible for all the freight charges on replacement engine will be sent until our staff have inspected and verified the returned defective engine in question.  If the engine is found defective, Japan Star Motor will send a replacement
or refund the purchased value of the motor. 
2. The engine MUST be returned in the same condition it was sent, all missing parts will be charged to the customer. 

Engines complete with accessories may not comply with the emission control laws of the state in which it is being sold or used.  State and/or federal authorities require that you change over the emission devices from your old engine to the engine you are installing to make it comply.  The add-on parts on the engine sold by Japan Star Motor Inc. are left attached for testing purpose only, for your convenience and are free of charge.  The purchase price represents the cost of the long block only (i.e. cylinder head and short block only).

Sales Policy:
>All sales are final, no refunds or exchange.
>Orders can be cancelled if they have not been shipped.
>All refused/returned orders will be charged 30% of the invoice amount for restocking fees plus all freight charges to return the item to our warehouse. 
>Customer is responsible for all the shipping charges on the item in dispute.  
>Any items in dispute sent to us Collect will be REFUSED.
